I think
that all of Monte Carlo is under surveillance. The local
gendarmes are everywhere! Lucky we had a permit (thanks to
the editor Carla Engler...in that sort of blue
shirt).
We set up before
sunrise to get the shot. Had to come back a second day,
because the model was late the first day (slow makeup/hair),
and it got to be too light outside.
They also permitted
us to setup, and shoot in the Casino during the early day.
(I kept looking around for James Bond...or at least for
Helmut Newton).
